Students Bring:

• Pencil, notebook/sketchbook

• Wooden rolling pin & pony roller

• Wallpaper seam roller

• Bubble level

• Spray bottle

• 8 White cotton dishcloths at least 24”x24”

• 1 Package of fine grade steel wool pads

• Pack of fine sandpaper

• Dust mask

• Newspaper or newsprint sheets. I use old free local city papers that are 12”x21”

• Collection of your personal pottery tools, aides, creature comforts such as flexible ribs, carving tools, stamps, needle tool, shredder, cut-off wire, & sponge

• Round stainless steel cutter set

• Chip brushes 3” wide

• Turntable at least 10 inches wide

• Thin plastic to cover work

• Box and bubble wrap to transport finished work

• Bagged lunch (coffee and lite snacks provided)

Optional:

• Heat gun

• Heat guns

• Clay

• Colored slips

• Bisque forms for building bowls

Double Island Studio will provide:

• 24x24 masonite boards (2 per person)

• 3 mil plastic

• Snacks & coffee

• Fans at each work table

• Anti fatigue mats
